How about having a cool drink at the Longhorn Saloon in Scenic? It's a very old bar (over 100 years old) and has so much history. It's like a real, old west town there in Scenic and tourists enjoy the saloon and the city jail. It's nothing "built up" or touristy, it's a real town where people still look a lot like they did way back when...

Also, we're just outside of Interior (Badlands National Park) and we are the "Home of the Badlands Burros" We have 3 very sweet burros that roam around the ranch looking for people with carrots in their pockets. You can pet, ride and visit with the burros. Tourists really enjoy getting off the Interstate and coming 15 miles south to the ranch to see the views here and mingle with the burros.
